Financial goals have to be stated in both efficiency and volume, or better yet, a single metric that is the result of both. Post-marketing gross profit makes for a handy example.

Had a Paris weekend and couldn't believe the crowds. We really are post-pandemic at this point. I am also pretty sure every American that put off travel for the last two years chose this weekend to visit Paris (1000x the # we've encountered in the last 3 months outside of Paris).

I'm always amazed how frequently (seemingly always?) remarketing is treated like a channel. It is not a channel, it is an assist to other channels and should be valued based on the lift in conversion it increases relative to your CAC. #marketing

Or where they do a bad practice like you point out in taking first payment as permanent customer value.
