Thai armed forces have carried out illegal attacks against Cambodiaβs sovereignty. Civilians have been deliberately targeted.

Cambodians appreciate these diplomatic efforts, including past US engagement under President Donald Trump, which showed that Washington can play a constructive role. But appreciation alone does not protect lives when Thailand repeatedly ignores US calls. When warnings are issued without consequence, diplomacy loses its meaning. The United States must do more than speak.

Cambodians and Foreigners Join March for Peace Amid Border Tensions
PHNOM PENH β Cambodians and foreigners marched for peace under the hot afternoon sun on December 18 to show Cambodiaβs spirit of peace and call for respect for the ceasefire.
Organized by the Union of Youth Federations of Cambodia (UYFC), the event also sought to encourage full respect for the peace declaration, with the goal of achieving peace between Cambodia and Thailand.
Fighting along the CambodiaβThailand border entered its twelfth day on December 18.
The three-kilometer march began at the night market and ended at the Independence Monument.

Cambodians in Canada Call for Thailand to Stop Attacking Cambodia
SIEM REAP - Despite the heavy snow, around 150 Cambodian people living in Canada gather and urges Thailand to cease military action on Cambodia's sovereignty.
Organized at the Parliament Hill of Ottawa capital city on December 13, they also call on the international communities to intervene as local Cambodian people continue suffering along the border with Thailand.
