My patience for other people's dogs is zero. If I'm inconvenienced or disrupted by someone's dog for even one second, it's unacceptable. Your dog should just not ever be my problem. But children are human beings. They are the next generation. We need them to exist and be participants in society or else human society goes extinct. Therefore the baseline patience we have for kids, even when they're slightly disruptive, should be INFINITELY higher than our baseline patience for dogs.
