🇿🇦Image of Hartbeespoort Dam (affectionately known as "Harties") shows water lettuce, which is a more aggressive invader than hyacinth. You see a few hyacinth, all in poor condition, as they are unable to compete for nutrients against the lettuce.

Water lettuce was first seen on a tributary of the Vaal, and within five years it had taken over the system.

The cause is elevated nutrients from dysfunctional sewage works, most notably Johannesburg North and Percy Stuart.

I grew up in South Africa in the 90s. We rode our bikes around the neighbourhood, walked to friends’ houses and our parents never worried about where we were. My bedroom window faced the street and on hot summer nights we slept with the windows open. We didn’t have walls or fences.

Then, in 2001, our home was broken into for the first time and several times over the years. My dad’s car was also stolen. One morning we went outside and my sister’s car was on bricks, rims gone. My younger sister was almost hijacked/kidnapped in the driveway.

Today, I live behind a steel fence with an electric fence, burglar bars, security gates, CCTV cameras, perimeter beams, an alarm system and private security.

I can’t walk down my own street without worrying about being robbed, or worse. I don’t drive with my window down. I don’t feel safe taking my children to parks that my taxes help pay to maintain. I have to look around everywhere I go.

This isn’t normal. It shouldn’t be accepted as normal. We shouldn’t have to live like this.

Four savages broke into the farmhouse of Rudolph Pretorius (54) between Groblersdal and Dennilton in Limpopo around 4:30 am in July 2014. They first poisoned his two dogs, then entered through a bathroom window, shot Pretorius in the face, and assaulted his wife Hanneli with a firearm.

The attackers demanded safe keys and stole jewelry and firearms. Pretorius was rushed to Groblersdal Hospital then transferred to Gauteng, but he died en route. No arrests at the time.

This is classic farm attack brutality; targeting White farmers and families in their homes with zero mercy. The ANC's rural safety failures continue to enable this slaughter.

Another farmer slaughtered in Levubu, Soutpansberg. Levubu is a well-known farming region with a history of violent attacks on White farmers.

On 7 May 2014, Hannes Kelly (52) was viciously attacked by three assailants while simply cutting his lawn on his property. He sustained severe injuries in the assault and was rushed to hospital, where he fought for his life but passed away two days later on May 9. His family was left devastated.

Yet another hardworking farmer erased in the farming heartland of Limpopo. How many more must be hunted down on their own land?

BRUTAL MURDER OF SINGLE MOTHER RIANA LOUW DU TOIT BEATEN TO DEATH WITH A ROCK

These savages targeted Riana Louw du Toit (44), a single mother of two teenage children, on 6 February 2018.

She was driving on the R354 between Sutherland and Merweville in the Northern Cape, on her way to work at Rogge Cloof Guest Farm as customer liaison and PR officer. She gave a lift to a neighbouring farmworker she knew.

The monster allegedly threw a rock at her after being dropped off, then moved around the vehicle and beat her head with an even larger rock.

Her head injuries were extremely severe. She was beaten beyond recognition. The bloodied rock was found in the vehicle with her body.

Her colleagues found her in the vehicle when she didn't arrive for work.

Riana leaves behind two teenage children after her husband had already passed. The community in Sutherland and surrounds was rocked by this gruesome killing in a normally peaceful area.

THE DOUBLE MURDER OF WHITE COUPLE TEWIE (72) AND EURIKA (62) HUMAN ON THEIR SMALLHOLDING.

These savages targeted innocent couple Tewie Human and his wife Eurika on their smallholding in 2016 in the Sandhoogte area, Grootbrakrivier.

Tewie's body was found in the garage. Eurika's body was found in their bed, still in her pajamas. They were likely ambushed early morning.

Tewie was hit seven times on the head with a machete. Eurika had multiple stab wounds to her body.

Tewie ran a sewerage services business and was well-known locally.

Eurika would have celebrated her birthday and their anniversary that day.

THE MURDER OF FARMER ANNATJIE MYBURGH STRANGLED TO DEATH.

These savages targeted Annatjie Myburgh (58) at her home on the Curlews smallholding in Rocky Drift outside White River, Mpumalanga, on 15 June 2016.

She was accosted by armed men at her gate, hijacked, and kidnapped. Her vehicle was taken. Her body was found three days later in the bush on the way to Numbi near the Kruger National Park. Initially thought to have died of a heart attack from stress, the state pathologist later revealed the truth; she was strangled to death.

Two accused, Selby John Mabila and Paul Mathebula, were convicted and sentenced to life imprisonment in 2019 for her murder.

Annatjie was torn from her farm home and murdered while the ANC government continues to downplay these attacks on White farmers and the EFF chants "Kill the Boer" with their racist B-BBEE policies. How many more White farmers must be hijacked, kidnapped, and strangled like this?

McDonald's announced they're replacing cashiers with kiosks in California just after the $20 minimum wage kicked in. Shocking to absolutely no one who understands basic economics. When you artificially price labor above its market value, employers find substitutes. Machines, automation, or they simply eliminate positions entirely.

The teenagers who desperately need that first job experience? Gone. The single mother trying to re-enter the workforce after years away? Priced out by someone with more skills. You've just created a legal barrier that prevents the least skilled workers from competing on the one thing they had going for them: willingness to work for less while they build experience.

Politicians pat themselves on the back for "helping workers" while unemployment among young minorities hits double digits. The workers who keep their jobs benefit (temporarily), but the invisible victims, those who never get hired in the first place, don't make headlines. Economics doesn't care about your good intentions.

On a smallholding outside Louis Trichardt (Makhado), Limpopo, 42-year-old builder Johan Oelofse was gunned down in cold blood as four attackers unleashed a ferocious barrage of gunfire on the family home from all directions.

Johan, his girlfriend Miempie du Toit, and her two children (Wimpie, 10, and Imge, 16) were watching TV when the nightmare began. Bullets shattered 19 windows. The family dove to the floor in the hallway as shots rained down. Johan grabbed his pistol and cellphone, returned fire to protect them, and desperately called a friend, the police, and the neighborhood watch for help. The attackers screamed they were going to kill everyone.

Johan was shot in the head. He died a hero, shielding his family. The cowards fled without stealing anything, they came purely to murder. Police later tracked them, leading to a shootout where one suspect was wounded and arrested. Two firearms stolen earlier from a nearby farm were recovered.

This was no "robbery gone wrong." It was a deliberate, vicious assault on a White family, enabled by the ANC regime's racist policies, B-BBEE discrimination, "Kill the Boer" incitement, and total abandonment of rural White communities.

The blood of Johan and thousands of other White victims cries out for justice. The genocide continues while the world mostly looks away.
