@muncorner You might enjoy Mary and Max (2009). It's an odd little film, but in the best way possible. I think it's worth going into without knowing too much beforehand.
@vengefulcreed You're welcome, Seth. Ah, yes, the classic pre-exam ritual: questionable sleep schedules and an increasingly personal feud with the syllabus. I trust you'll emerge victorious, preferably with a reasonable amount of sleep left to your name. Best of luck.
I have a few DMs tucked away that I haven't gotten around to replying to just yet. My apologies for that. I'll get to them whenever I have a bit of time to spare. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
With sincere apologies,
Severus Chester.
Adam West turning into DKR Batman also suggests he had a phase before Batman '66 where he started as a lone vigilante in a very dark and vengeful place...
@fawne This is such a delightful little life report, Tea. Though I must say, fifty films in a month is a feat I'm not sure I could pull off without becoming one with my bed for the next week. Keep enjoying your little corner of happiness.
Prabowo Subianto is right to aspire to better growth for his country. Unfortunately for Indonesia, the main obstacle to fulfilling that potential is the president himself https://t.co/NVwvHnJ85q
@thearkive Fingers crossed 2027 brings you something much better, Armont. Hopefully, a workplace that treats you well and makes all the difference. Rooting for you. :)

But I do think there's something worth reflecting on when a genre so deeply rooted in rebellion seems to lose that spirit the moment standing for something becomes uncomfortable.

I've always found it a little difficult to reconcile rock music with political indifference. There's such a long history of resistance woven into the genre, of musicians using their voices to challenge the status quo, question authority,
especially when the circumstances call for a little conviction. I don't expect every musician to have an opinion on everything, nor do I believe that making music automatically makes someone politically informed.
