It’s almost Election Day, and there are so many important state and local races on the ballot.
Whether it’s governors, mayors, or school boards, the leaders we choose will make decisions that affect our daily lives for years to come. That means no matter who’s in charge in Washington, we can still make progress on health care, affordability, gerrymandering, reproductive freedom, gun safety, climate, and so many of the issues that matter to us.
Let’s be clear. As we celebrate July 4th this year, it is not patriotic to throw 16 million Americans off the health care they have. No member of the House who votes today for this disastrous bill should be re-elected.
Congratulations to Taylor Swift @taylorswift13 ,,, may you have peace and happiness and continue to gain more of that. This community is so happy for you,!!! 🙏🏾🔥👍🏾✨💛🫶🏾

In Fahrenheit 451, the abolition of reading began with tech companies simplifying books into summaries that you could read in five minutes. Because people no longer engaged with the texts, they forgot how to think. Then came the book-burnings.
As a kid, I never understood why my mom would cry so much when watching TV, especially sporting events like the Olympics.
Fast forward to now and let me tell you, I have cried daily over stories from these Olympics 😭 ❤️
Just to put this win into context: Arshad Nadeem didn't even have enough money to buy a new javelin. He didn't have proper coaching or a training facility. His village banded together to raise money to send him to the Olympics.
Arshad’s win is cinematic.

My mom was (and still is) a diehard Sox fan and she forced my brothers and I to stay up and watch. I was in 5th grade at the time.
2004 me was confused at getting to stay up so late, but now I am so grateful to have witnessed this live. One of my favorite childhood memories!
Gotta tell ya, chef, still find myself thinking about “Forks” from #TheBear S2 once a day. The Xmas ep is deserving of all the praise it gets but “Forks” was my favorite ep. What that show is able to do in 30-40 mins is amazing.
