@QuodSoler @_benui Yeah. Been there. But honestly, you don't have to destroy things right away. Cache what you need during that phase, hide instead of destroying and disable functionality until your requirements are met. Tear it off if working on a multiplayer project. It can get tricky, but doable

@urinalcake @protonperson @glxymichael I do think games like Disney's Dreamlight Valley can fit right into that alley though. It's a single player game with a live service on top of it. I bet more narrative-games could follow the same approach, but it's far from your standard story focused game design
