For the first time in 30+ years I am not getting ready for the start of a new school yr tomorrow. My advice to all my friends and colleagues who are is to remember that:
A good read today on Canada Day so we may reflect on the truth and how we may reconcile that which we cannot deny; make Canada a place we can ALL be proud of.
We seem to have a few new friends here! For those who haven't yet seen it, here is a copy of our booklet: An Overview of the Indian Residential School System. #EveryChildMatters https://t.co/dQo4w8o5ZK
It's #Pride Month in Canada.
This quote from Morgan Freeman is so perfect.
I can't help but think this also applies to the word #Islamophobia too.
