@hankgreen Its like saying the state of VR broke the worldbuilding of Ready Player One. What?
Is he confusing ire of creatives at gen-AI filling the world with slop with ... whatever he's saying?
@hankgreen I don't think I've read, watched or played any sci-fi media where the state of current LLMs have anything to do with scifi worldbuilding. When has the reality of tech ever "broken" or invalidated what has been posited in science *fiction*?
@EbeAfiveone@aitaikimochi Sooooo you're saying that the textures, geometry, rigging is already done right? right? >_>
JK, jk. Though, its probably not impossible, its just a matter of whether the outsized budget compared to other sliders and hair options required to make it happen is worth it.
@VTuberASMRFan@GapingApe154@luwudco It might have been an early iteration of the current thing they’re doing with HoloAn. Like a rep for the branch channel. If so, they would have realized there are many reasons not to do such an elaborate character, incl the cost of transitioning when the staff member moves on
@iBagels@GabrielKrossVT@AyukiAkiba It’s not VShojo that may be the problem, it’s the sharks they owe money to. And I don’t mean the talents. It’s the investors that pumped the initial cash into the company. They’ll inherit all the contract, including the NDAs, and they may be able to action on them.
@bignothingman@hololive_En Its an option for the talent to keep one foot in the door. I'm going to guess most will still choose to graduate - a clean break will be simpler, but having the option is good.
@SpigenWorld The massive C11 logo sticks out like a sore thumb in an otherwise sleek dark design. Wish it was more discreet. Would've bought it otherwise.
@SPOOKY_GH05T @Sino_Market Nah. We still have lifting sports even when there are robot arms capable of lifting tons. Pursuit of human athletic limits has nothing to do with what we can build.
@qikipedia I'll never understand why they invented that cursive half-F to write 's', and then also have actual 's', and have *both* of them in the same word, next to each other.
