It is truly an honor to receive clearance to attend the SCSP Summit, where the Deputy Director of the CIA will be a keynote speaker
I grew up hearing stories that shaped my view of America-stories of a member of my family who served as a U.S soldier, risking his life in Iraq and Afghanistan and of another family member who personally
presented a handcrafted eel-skin bag to President Ronald Reagan and the First Lady during their visit to South Korea
During my military service in South Korea, I was selected as an interpreter and assigned to the ROK-U.S Combined Forces Command for joint exercises
At the time, I had joined later than other peers and felt behind but a U.S intelligence officer took a genuine interest in me, asked thoughtful questions and offered guidance
I learned a great deal from him and it remains one of the most meaningful experiences of my life
That experience shaped my belief that what defines America is not titles or authority but the ability to recognize potential, value substance and give people real opportunities
God bless America
@LauraLoomer@ZelenskyyUa It seems that many people in the intelligence community have been surprised by your shift from a pro-Russian stance to genuinely standing with Ukraine and the free world
I was surprised as well and I want to commend you for your courage.
@mikepompeo During your time as CIA Director and during Gina Haspel’s tenure as well, the Agency felt closest to its core mission.
I completely agree with you
@magyarpeterMP@FriedrichMerz@SecGenNATO Congratulations on your election victory
I sincerely hope you’ll move away from policies aligned with China and Russia
Such a shift would be a meaningful step toward global stability
Warm regards from across the globe 😋
