10 years ago today, Alex Hirsch tweeted out a single image and one sentence; "Let the games begin #FLSKHUKXQW."
What followed was one of the craziest, memorable and truly "you had to be there" ARG's ever and moment in Gravity Falls history.
Happy 10 years to #CipherHunt! 🔺👁️

@_AlexHirsch The Oregon Vortex has a really important part in Gravity Falls' development. The crew visited it on numerous occasions during production of the show to get ideas for the series and just for fun. Here's some pics taken from visits they did in 2011, 2012 and 2013.
The Oregon Vortex, a tourist attraction that heavily inspired Gravity Falls/the Mystery Shack, is closed due to flood damage.
They have a GoFundMe up to help fund repairs. If you can spare a cent, help save this piece of American and GF history!

I think a McGucket Hoax type thing is something that probably will never happen again. The combination of fandoms being smaller, more centralized and easier to trick back then to now, just makes a hoax like it, not impossible, but just way harder to pull off.
