@eeleach Love shared book lists, thank you! In the case of the Monkey King, if you have a taste for it, consider the unabridged "Journey to the West" version - long but worth it :-)
@Cafeoto Dear Artists & Labels - please be aware that in releasing only downloads, it prevents libraries from collecting your recordings. I know that there are many reasons to bypass CDs, but (due to arcane details of copyright law) we can't buy 'em! :-( and I would like to add you!
@jlmafi Regurgitating, possibly, an earlier human joke: "How do you get a drummer <or insert target musician here> off of your porch? - Answer: "pay them for the pizza"
@willmasonmusic Not sure if music notation software is part of the mix, but (even though it's linked to a commercial service), I've found a lot of useful tips on notation sw on https://t.co/FNZ9sldPlE
@WhereToNowSound Music librarian, here. This is a real issue for libraries, which I hope that artists/labels can be aware of - no CD release means most libraries can't buy releases for our collections - which is a shame. Because we want to preserve the music for the future, in our collections.
