@lufthansa @GaryLineker It’s been nearly 24 hours and no news. We need bums on plane seats, not hotel rooms. 2 years of saving for a trip of a lifetime, their 1st tour since Covid. Absolutely devastating and heartbreaking for them. When will it be sorted.

@GaryLineker can you please retweet. @lufthansa need to do something. There are 50 boys & teachers still stranded at Heathrow because their Lufthansa flight to Frankfurt was cancelled yesterday missing their connecting flight to South Africa for their rugby/hockey tour.

I am extremely sad to report that 24 hours after @lufthansa cancelled our flight that we are still no closer to knowing if we will be able to travel to SA 🇿🇦

@SimonCalder there are 50 boys plus teachers stranded at Heathrow airport because their Lufthansa flight to Frankfurt was cancelled yesterday thereby missing their connecting Lufthansa flight to South Africa. We’ve just been told they probably won’t fly today. What can we do?
