2021 was a year of many firsts for us.
Thank you to everyone who has supported and continues to support our work.
Let's do more in 2022.
We just published our annual report and if you would like to read it, please use this link - https://t.co/TXRo8GS7AS
Ensuring that poor women have access to lines of credit for their businesses is key to lifting women out of poverty. But even more importantly is the flexibility of credit instruments provided.

We are excited to have our work featured as part of @OneYoungWorld recently released social impact report.
Opportunities like this encourage us to continue our work and to reach more women and girls in poor communities.

December 2020 - We empowered one woman with a microgrant & she trained 40 other women in her community.
Now, she is one of our on call facilitators. We will continue to work with Mrs H to train + empower more women within & outside her community.

In November 2020, we met Grace, a widow living in Kabayi community of Nasarawa state.
Grace was struggling to make ends meet for her self and her 5 children.
In February 2021, Grace was able to pay her rent and move her children into less cramped quarters.
She said to us, "Ah, this place better for me and my children o. My son for village go come back."
Our Women Crush Everyday are the women who use the limited resources they have to cater for themselves, their families and still find ways to support other women who have less.
We go far by lifting others.

Despite the challenges of 2020, we are glad that we were able to continue our work with women in poor communities and to record great strides.
We look forward to doing even more in 2021.

This is a huge problem, not just for Igbo women but for all women in Nigeria.
Through @soupnstew I work with widows and it's crazy what they go through.
Financial autonomy for women is a MUST.
Today, we are overseeing a training for widows in Nyanya Gwandara community of Nasarawa state on doughnut making.
The training is facilitated by Rebecca Yohanna, the second winner of our micro grant.
