[Soupppr @Soupppr1]

@acoolerclimate5 @epkaufm @jean_twenge I feel like female sexuality is a little more malleable than male sexuality, and this graph focuses on teen girls.

[Soupppr @Soupppr1]

@epkaufm @jean_twenge Does this trend exist at all for males?

[Soupppr @Soupppr1]

@ShamashAran Wanting to retain shitty jobs without at least talking about unemployment is probably not a good idea. I dont think its that bad.

[Soupppr @Soupppr1]

@aimeeterese The fuckin kids looking sad gets me lmao

[Soupppr @Soupppr1]

@JJ_McCullough I assume you considered putting it on your second channel instead. Any reason why it was on your main channel?

[Jason Kenney 🇨🇦🇺🇦🇮🇱 @jkenney]

This is glorious!

It’s early, but there’s a very good chance that David Eby’s breathtakingly cynical election call will backfire on his failed socialist government.

Bonus: the swivel-eyed loons of the crazy right are sidelined in their little One BC sandbox. 👌

[Richard Hanania @RichardHanania]

I've become a big fan of Canada in seeing how (relatively) little controversy euthanasia seems to arouse in that country despite the entire right-wing Anglosphere losing its mind over it.

Canadians have the most up close experience with MAID. They know that it is a humane, rational policy that provides people in difficult situations a humane way to die with dignity.

Rightists sitting in America and the UK getting their information about MAID from the Daily Mail and the New York Post are convinced that Canada is eliminating every twenty year old who comes in with a cough.

But Canada knows what it is doing is right. All the data and facts are on their side. The other side has sensationalist anecdotes that fall apart under scrutiny, and paranoid conspiracy theories about Canada being the Fourth Reich and eliminating the weak and vulnerable for pleasure and profit.

On that basis, they want government to force people to be indefinitely tortured. It's hard to think of many positions more disgusting than that.

I'm proud of you, Canada. You are showing humanity the way forward. 🇨🇦https://t.co/SKyKybPkgV

[Richard Deitsch @richarddeitsch]

Brian Platt is of course correct. It's literally a Google search to confirm.

Again, and I will keep saying this:

What has been done to the U.S.-Canada relationship because of, as the Wall Street Journal called it, the dumbest trade war in history, will have a multiple-generation impact.

There has been no greater ally to the U.S. than Canada and 9/11 symbolized that.

An epic disaster and for what? Infuriating.

[Soupppr @Soupppr1]

@uppercut911 @WarMonitor3 Those Russian incursions definitely violate their border policy though.

[Andrew Coyne 🇺🇦🇮🇱🇬🇪🇲🇩 @acoyne]

This is next-level shamelessness.

[Soupppr @Soupppr1]

@uppercut911 @WarMonitor3 Forget about the EU for a moment. If Ukraine deserves it, why not Poland? They spend a lot on defense.

[Jason Kenney 🇨🇦🇺🇦🇮🇱 @jkenney]

Breathtaking hypocrisy.

A central criticism of MAGA is that it has degraded democratic norms.

That's *exactly* what Eby has done with this transparently cynical election call chosen for only one reason: to exploit a pending leadership change in his main opposition party.

Principled voices across the political spectrum should denounce this assault on longstanding democratic norms.

[Soupppr @Soupppr1]

@PalPress24 @realrabbilinda LOOOOOL Fucking retard hahahaha.

[Soupppr @Soupppr1]

@JJ_McCullough Oktoberfest is coming up

[Soupppr @Soupppr1]

@buperac Mother fucker have you tried analyzing THE MARKET lmfao

[realNickKouvalis @NickKouvalis]

BELARUS IS LANDLOCKED.
BELARUS IS THOUSANDS OF MILES AWAY.
BELARUS IS STILL UNDER SANCTIONS BY EVERYONE EXCEPT THE USA.
SHIPPING COSTS ALONE!

WHY DOES ANDREW SCHEER NOT KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT THE GLOBAL POTASH MARKET?

[Ron Filipkowski @RonFilipkowski]

Art of the Deal is buying fertilizer from a Putin-aligned repressive dictator and paying to ship it 6,000 miles from his landlocked and sanctioned country so you can teach Canada a lesson.

[Noah Smith 🐇🇺🇸🇺🇦🇹🇼 @Noahpinion]

Good question. At the level of the national party, I'd say 1) categorical opposition to all immigration enforcement, 2) land acknowledgements and other anti-American rhetoric, 3) willingness to countenance explicit racial discrimination in violation of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (and/or the 14th Amendment), and 4) various minor positions on trans issues.

In terms of what people vote on, I'd say immigration and racial discrimination are much more important than land acknowledgements or trans issues. In terms of the actual future of the nation, I'd say that the ideology behind land acknowledgments -- which views America as a fundamentally illegitimate settler-colonialist entity whose dissolution is the only true path to historical and global justice -- is far more dangerous and damaging.

At the local level, there is some extremism connected to the Palestine movement, which is both deeply antisemitic and deeply anti-American.
