You know what the biggest problem with pushing all-things-AI is? Wrong direction.
I want AI to do my laundry and dishes so that I can do art and writing, not for AI to do my art and writing so that I can do my laundry and dishes.
this isn’t heartbreaking, this is infuriating. this is complete and total fascistic control over bodily functions, over women’s lives. they’re trying to make a spectacle of her. the cruelty is the point.
No. Sorry. They are not “collateral damage” they are human beings who happen to have been born there and live there and most of those human beings are stuck there. Have some compassion, they are Palestinians not buildings or roads or things, they are human beings and so are the hostages whose lives you may also be destroying. They aren’t “collateral damage” either.

There are a lot of offensive responses to students advocating for Palestinian liberation. That’s not what’s happening here. These messages at Cornell are terrifying and violently antisemitic. They are inciting violence
calling for a ceasefire is legit the most like baseline sensible demand, and the fact that even that is controversial is truly fucking astonishing !!!! why is everyone a warmonger, where is their humanity????
I feel utterly sick. If you don't understand how genocides happen, now you do. Taking away fuel and electricity, cutting Gazans off from the world. Casting doubt on death tolls that human rights groups consider reliable. They are trying to make this disappear. Don't let them.
A close friend here just found out all 21 of his family in Gaza were wiped out last night.
Anyone with a phone in Gaza city just got a message from the Israeli army that if they havent evacuated, they are considered terrorists.
They have nowhere to go.
This is a genocide.
Horrified & heartbroken.
I’m praying for the family & loved ones of Samantha Woll, for the Jewish community in Detroit & all those holding the pain & grief of this unconscionable loss.
Sam was a beloved former Congressional staffer, President of her synagogue’s board & Founder of the Jewish-Muslim Forum of Detroit.

Humans can only survive without water for about 3 days. Gaza has run dry.
The blockade on water, food, and electricity is an indiscriminate, collective punishment and a crime.
It is cruel and unjust. To save millions of people in Gaza - nearly half children - it must end. Now.
Some of the most measured voices I’m hearing on here, the ones who seem most serious about ending this agony, seem to come from Israelis whose loved ones have just been murdered or abducted by Hamas.
Some examples… 🧵 ⬇️
Ordering 1+ million—including Gaza’s main hospital—to evacuate when there’s no safe place to go amid relentless bombing & roads are rubble isnt effective warning & risks mass forced displacement. World should act to prevent a calamity before it’s too late
As a Jewish person, I wish I could spend this week grieving and mourning. But the Israeli government is weaponizing our grief to enact a second Nakba, killing thousands and displacing millions. I can make time to grieve while also working to stop ethnic cleansing.
