@petergostev Should get 10x points for loc reduction if all tests pass. Code golfing is fun but the principle applies. Verbosity is a feature of bad compression.
Should still be trying to maximise positive impact at lowest possible LOC increase. You should be striving to compact the code. Otherwise we end up exponentially using more tokens on more lines of code. Using codex to find ways to simplify is a good use of tokens.
this is such a tired narrative. all the best founders i know pull borderline hazardous hours too, but are keen to keep others insulated from this behavior. itโs the choice they made when they started the company. bragging about it is poor positioning
Codex team not acknowledging that the app/models are currently not working for half of the requests (infinite reconnecting and thinking delays) is a bit painful @thsottiaux.
1. Thinking... but no output.
2. Reconnecting cascade party where you watch it count up to 5 repeatedly.
Codex is pretty broken right now. Goals get close to completion then hang. Resuming a thread an hour later and it goes into thinking... without any response. No view on compaction. Just acting like a buggy piece of software. Start a new thread I guess and don't use goals?
