Raakh is a well-made crime thriller with an eerie atmosphere, and impressive production design that recreates late-1970s Delhi effectively.
The series succeeds in building tension BUT NOT ENOUGH emotional weight around a tragic crime.
First 2 episodes are good enough but the last episode which peaked hits you hard.
However, the biggest issue is that the show takes significant liberties with the real-life case that inspired it. Many events, characters, motivations, and investigative details have been altered or fictionalized. The show changes major details such as the backgrounds of the criminals or creates new ideological themes through fictional characters.
One of the most controversial creative choices in Raakh is its treatment of caste. The series portrays the investigating police inspector as a Dalit character while depicting the two main criminals as Brahmins. Since the show is inspired by a real case but significantly changes the backgrounds and identities of several characters, this shifts the focus from the historical crime toward a broader commentary on caste and social hierarchy.
Whether these choices were intentional is difficult to prove without confirmation from the creators, but they hardly feel accidental.

A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms
I observed a little bit of grayness in Egg. Beneath his kindness and empathy, there's a capacity for ruthlessness. The scene where he approached Aerion with a knife wasn't just about angerโit revealed that, under enough pressure, Egg is willing to consider crossing lines that most people wouldn't.

A knight of the Seven Kingdoms
Dunk is fascinating because he isn't exceptional. He isn't a legendary warrior, a master strategist, or someone destined to change history. He often feels out of place, uncertain, and unprepared. Yet his instinct is to do what he believes is right, even when it comes at a personal cost. Egg serves as a perfect contrast. Through him, the story explores the tension between status and character, birth and merit, power and responsibility. Despite his upbringing, he is constantly forced to see the world from perspectives that the nobility usually ignore.

Watched A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms.
Unlike most stories in Westeros, the focus isn't on kings, queens, dragons, or grand political schemes. It's on ordinary people trying to find honor, purpose, and belonging in a complicated world. Dunk's greatest strength isn't his skill with a swordโit's his decency. Egg, despite his status, is constantly forced to confront the gap between privilege and reality. The show proves that compelling characters don't need to be powerful. They just need to feel real.

Obsession has so many layered characters.
Everyone is driven by some combination of desire, insecurity, loneliness, fear, or selfishness. As the story unfolds, their flaws become increasingly exposed.
Everyone is taking bad decision and relentlessly follows its consequences, no matter how chaotic, awkward, or horrifying they become.
At times, I found myself laughing, cringing, and feeling uneasy all at once.

Watched Obsession.
At first, it looks like a supernatural horror film. Then it turns into something far strangerโwild, weird, uncomfortable, disturbing, and surprisingly funny. ๐
Humans are recording and uploading all their insanity on the internet.
And for the first time in history, humanityโs collective mind is being archived in real time.
Earlier, peopleโs madness, ego, tribalism, cruelty, wisdom, creativity โ all of it stayed local. A village only knew its own fools. A kingdom only heard its own rumors.
