Life without choice is not a gift. Religious views should not be used to deny the right to an #AssistedDeath for people who are terminally ill or incurably suffering. Religious people all over the world support the right to a dignified death and those voices need to be heard.

Jean had been a right-to-die campaigner all her life. At age 86 she had various medical conditions; she felt her life was complete and wanted to end it. Jean chose to starve herself to death. An #AssistedDying law would have given Jean the compassionate death she deserved.
