9/07 @ 0658 called to assist with a person in the water at Paignton Beach. On scene we saw a member of public in the sea struggling with a person in distress. @PaigntonSgt immediately entered the water to help restrain and safely return the casualty into the care of Ambulance.
Paignton PCSO spotted a male who was wanted for failing to attend Exeter Crown Court earlier in the month. Police Officers promptly attended and the male was arrested #oneincustody

A further update on the damage caused to vehicles in Kingsteignton on Monday. A suspect has now been interviewed and has admitted causing damage to all 19 vehicles. The male will now go through the normal court process.

Police in Cornwall attended 931 incidents over the weekend, during which six officers were assaulted, including officers spat and coughed at. All suspects arrested.
