There's so much to do to continue moving our community forward. I am committed to working together with our community leaders to move us in the right direction. Early voting is currently open and will be open in District 59 this Thursday. I am asking for your vote!
Early voting is open now through July 28, and primary election day is August 2nd. I would appreciate and be honored to have your vote in the Democratic primary! #GOTV#GoVote
I’ve spent my career searching & advocating for policies that promote equity in our public schools & higher education system. I will continue to work on behalf of what’s best for students as a member of the TN House of Representatives. BUT I can only get there with YOUR support.
Today is the LAST day to register to vote in the August 2 Election and Primaries. You can register to vote or update your address online at https://t.co/LnmDCN640w.
Tennessee has a primary election on August 2. In order to vote in that election, you must register to vote by **JULY 3 -- that’s this Tuesday!** Register (or make sure your registration is up to date) at https://t.co/SQJ9maeMqx. #IWillVote#TNPrimary
Thanks also to @conexionamericas for hosting an open house to write legislators and tell them to advocate for families. Community leaders including @mayordavidbriley came out to support. #indivisible
Thousands of Middle Tennesseans joined the #familiesbelongtogether march and rally in Nashville today. Inspiring demonstration against inhumane policies and practices, coupled with powerful reminders to register and VOTE this year.
🌈 As an ally, I believe it is essential to show up for and celebrate Nashville’s, Tennessee’s, and the world’s LGBTQIA communities. This morning, I was proud to be among so many people celebrating the Nashville Equality Walk. Happy Pride Month! 🏳️🌈 #nashvillepride#pride
Celebrating my Dad today while honoring the memory of my grandfathers. Happy Father’s Day to all fathers and father figures! Thank you for all the work you do and love you pour out to raising the next generation. #Happyfathersday2018#fathersday#SundayMorning
"We have over a thousand Democrats from across the state tonight, and they're fired up and ready to go out and win some elections. We're going to make sure that we take advantage of this opportunity." -Chair @MaryMancini#3StarDinner2018 https://t.co/8aG0LUdZo6
Today, I want to recognize Flag Day—a day that means different things to different people. To me, Flag Day is a reminder that out of many, we are one. It is a reminder of unity and progress. #FlagDay
Gov. Haslam says immigration issues "have little to do with being governor."
Tennesseans who watched their neighbors carried away by immigration agents while you refused to veto HB2315 see it a little differently. #TNGov https://t.co/dCpg1YjSFI
Because of today’s Supreme Court decision, voting is now "use it or lose it" for some Americans. I’m glad the Tennessee legislature changed our state law last year to protect our citizens. I hope it doesn’t reverse that law.
Thanks to all the volunteers who came out and knocked on doors with us yesterday. We reached a total of 153 people within just a few hrs! #volunteers#appreciationpost
