@arkyairedale I went through this sort of scary situation with my mother. She had decreased kidney function... anemia or even a urinary tract infection would have her hallucinating. Thinking of you.

We just finished taking to the doctor & Charlotteโs blood count was back within the normal range this morning! We are bringing her home this afternoon! She will go back to her regular vet for a blood test on Thursday. We are so relieved! Thank you every well wish & prayer!

Charlotte update: no masses or tumors in her abdomen! She will remain at the hospital on iv fluids & wide spectrum antibiotics. The white blood cell count is still low possibly from the infection. More information tomorrow... โค๏ธ๐พ๐๐ผโค๏ธ๐พ

Update: Charlotte has been transferred to a critical care pet hospital with doctors & staff on location 24/7. She was more focused and comfortable this afternoon. She will continue her on meds & fluids there for 24-48 hours. Thank you everyone!

Charlotte is critically ill. She has some sort of intestinal virus & her white blood cell count is quite low. She is at the veterinary hospital receiving IV fluids & additional tests & care. Please, keep her in your prayers. #happgirl #dachsie #dachshund #weinerdog @pkn4645
