I got some regrets
But my past won't keep me from my best
Subtle mistakes felt like life or death
I wanna see the family stronger
I wanna see the money longer
In 1980, Richard Pryor agreed to an interview with a Mormon high school public access station while on his lunch break from filming STIR CRAZY in Arizona, but literally none of the footage was usable for tv because Pryor was high on cocaine and let it all loose
I’ve been watching a lot of the Juco World Series this week on ESPN+, and it’s the purest form of baseball I’ve seen in ages. No K zone. No radar gun. Dodgy field. Just guys chasing dreams and a ring. I couldn't love it more. Especially considering this is who’s pitching tonight.
Los Angeles Times describes Drake's Trilogy album as a "Temu Haul" that will be forgotten in less than one year saying Kendrick Lamar's "GNX" is better.
This is true and we're back to our regularly scheduled subliminal dissing and it'll be forever and that's how it should be....Bird Magic...Israel Palestine....Peter Griffin and the chicken
Kendrick Lamar orchestrated the best chess move in rap beef history 2 years ago today- dropping Meet the Grahams less than an hour after Drake released Family Matters, completely flipping the narrative in real time.
MTG is the darkest, most vicious diss track i’ve ever heard in my life and should be regarded as one of the best diss tracks ever made.
RZA said Kendrick’s Meet the Grahams took the Drake beef to another level of writing . He compared it to Nas' One Love & I Gave You Power on Flagrant.
“That was deep.”
Well; this is obviously frustrating on many levels. It’s hard to put into words the emotions and mental state that something like this can leave you in. Nor do I want to really.
I just know I have given 100% and have done everything that’s been asked of me and at the end of the day that’s all I can do. But somethings just can’t be explained. For a lack of a better term; “shit just happens sometimes”
In the same breathe; I also know I am one of the best pitchers on this planet. And I will get back to that and even better. There has never been a backup plan. It’s always been baseball. And it will remain that way.
God hasn’t dealt me anything I can’t handle. God saves his toughest battles for his strongest soldiers. God; and his son Jesus Christ have my back and at the end of the day that’s all I need.
I also want to say thank you to everyone who has shown their concern and has reached out. It really means more than you know. Truly a blessing to have the support.
Miss being with the guys everyday. Miss all of it. And I will get back to it.
