@BeschlossDC I was home sick from school, watching the launch live on TV. I was 11, and I remember hollering to my mom that something looked wrong, and she didn’t believe me at first. When we realized what happened, we sat and cried.

@ImJoshMichaels @KelseaBallerini Meh, you’re forgiven 😂 That seems like several lifetimes ago!!

[Jen Steele @southsnowball]

@bruce_worden @EricIdle You aren’t wrong.

[Jen Steele @southsnowball]

@WIBC_EricBerman This is lousy news. But I’m definitely sticking around for whatever is coming next. You are one hell of a reporter.

[Jen Steele @southsnowball]

@eilatan I’m sorry. I can’t like this. It sucks, because no one should be treated this way.

[1/4]🧵: Today is #YomHashoah, Holocaust Remembrance Day. As a Jew growing up in NYC in the late '60s, I used to see old folks with humbers tattooed on their arms and hear the phrase "Never again!" all the time. I felt like it referred to some horror from the very distant past.

The Brooklyn Public Library has announced that any teenager in America is now eligible for a Brooklyn Public Library card.

Teens can sign out ebooks + audiobooks from wherever they live.

The move is designed to combat censorship, with some titles listed as "always available."

@bruce_worden We have a Cardinal that does the same thing here. We put pictures of female Cardinals in the front windows to make him less fighty. Now he’s just lovesick.

[Jen Steele @southsnowball]

@eilatan I’ve never even met him and I love him ❤️

[Barry Malone @malonebarry]

Remarkable moment caught on camera as Zelensky hears about the bombing of the Babyn Yar Holocaust memorial for the first time.

[Jen Steele @southsnowball]

@bruce_worden I feel this one in my soul today.

Is this real? Are we actually living in a TL where the legislature of Virginia is proposing to reform education by teaching its students that the Lincoln-Douglas debates featured Abraham Lincoln and Frederick Douglass?

[Jen Steele @southsnowball]

@eilatan We did go a little stir crazy, but we discovered Whose Line!

[Jen Steele @southsnowball]

@eilatan I need Door Dash for snow ❄️ Is that a thing? I feel if I have to live with temps in the teens, I should at least get snow.

[Jen Steele @southsnowball]

@eilatan Everyone else got the snow we should have here in Indiana.

[Jen Steele @southsnowball]

@dandyheadshots I honestly thought I already was. Oversight on my part 😄
