Nigeria is like this today because we learned nothing from the war ! Those that fought the war were buy covering up the atrocities committed trying to subdue the eastern region instead of ensuring honest discussion and complete national reconciliation . The 3Rs proposed was pure theory that never saw implementation in practical form .

Rwanda had such issues in 1994 but everyone subjected and subscribed to honest national discussion and true repentance Those that committed crimes were punished and justice was served end to end . They realized where they made mistake and corrected it such are issue of tribal inscription on national identity etc . Today Rwanda is doing great .

Honest national discussion is paramount now more than election and the more we run from it the more things are going south .
