Lots of work by the team went into making sure Cashu wallets ready for a world with tap to pay for bitcoin.

Every lightning wallet should do the same: read NFC to with a bolt11 invoice or extract if from a BIP321 payload, and pay it.

Cashu wallets can also support the ecash-native interactive NFC protocol using Cashu payment requests: read a payment request, either directly or via BIP321, coinselect the ecash with the amount you want to pay and push it back to the terminal via NFC.

The terminal can then choose to either keep the ecash or withdraw the payment via Lightning. Payer doesn't need Internet.
