🇦🇪 Valuable exchange in Brussels with UAE Minister of State Lana Nusseibeh.

Belgium and the UAE enjoy excellent bilateral relations that keep growing stronger. I visited the UAE twice last year, and our cooperation continues to deepen, particularly on judicial matters.

We also discussed economic opportunities and the ongoing EU negotiations on the Free Trade Agreement and Strategic Partnership Agreement with the UAE. These agreements could unlock significant potential for both sides.

Beyond our bilateral ties, the UAE plays a crucial role in some of the world's most complex crises. We discussed the urgent situations in Gaza, Sudan, Iran, and Ukraine, including the UAE's important work hosting trilateral discussions between Ukraine, the US, and Russia.
