Israel bombed Lebanon with banned phosphorus munitions, violating Security Council resolution SCR 1701, ceasefire agreement, and international law with absolutely no consequences.
This is another war crime and the International Criminal Court remains silent.
you are complaining that ao3 doesn't let you spam political slogans and ask people to donate to something unrelated to fanfiction, while acting like them not censoring works of fanfiction (being a free, open archive) is somehow related. girl at least focus on the topic at hand

ao3 has been under a lot of pressure lately. more users, more traffic, more reports, more confusion. which is great in one way because fandom is alive and people want stories, but it also means we all need to breathe and remember how the site actually works.
this is for everyone. old readers, new readers, writers, lurkers, people who just discovered fanfiction last week, and people who have been here since dial up.
let us talk about how to exist peacefully on ao3.
then why is fanfiction still rather niche? maybe some people do approach it with gatekeeper mindset, but for me, the reason why it shouldn’t be bass-boosted into mainstream is that the community has its own structure, etiquette and mutual understanding, to protect the safety+
