Editing your own writing can feel as painful as pulling teeth. As a developmental editor, I have a few tricks up my sleeve that can make the process so much smoother & more efficient.
Here are some of my favorite self-editing hacks that many of my clients swear by. A 🧵:
Presenting “Roots: Korean Diaspora” edited by Andre Lee Bassuet. Beautiful cover design by Andre and artist Dave Young Kim, both of @KAACollective . It is a pleasure to have contributed my art and my poem “GHOST ROOTS: A New Ganggangsullae” to this beautiful artist book.🧵👇
Please join me and other contributors tonight 5-7pm for the Opening Reception to our group art show at AS220 Gallery located on the 2nd floor of 95 Empire Street, Providence, RI. I will be reading my poem. See you there!

Hey #WritingCommmunity anyone taken themselves on a personal writing retreat? Any tips/advice on making the most of your time? I got 4 days away from my family and am starting to plan and set some goals for my manuscript #amediting
