ކަޅު ބާޒާރުގައި ޑޮލަރުގެ އަގު އުފުލެން ދިމާވި މައިގަނޑު ސަބަބަކީ އެމްޑީޕީ ވެރިކަމުގައި ފައިސާ ޗާޕުކުރުން. މިހެން ބުނީމަ ވަރަށް ގިނަ ކުރާ ސުވާލަކީ އޭރު ފައިސާގެ އަގު ނުވެއްޓުނީ ކީއްވެތޯ. އަދި ކޮވިޑު ތެރޭގައި އިޤްތިސާދު ހުއްޓިފައި އޮތް އިރުވެސް ފައިސާގެ އަގު ނުވެއްޓޭކަމަށް އެބަބުނޭ. އެގޮތަށް އެކަންވި ވަރަށް ގިނަ ސަބަބުތައް އެބަހުރި.

2020 އިން 2023 ގެ ނިޔަލަށް 8 ބިލިއަނެއްހާ ރުފިޔާ ޗާޕުކުރިނަމަވެސް އެ މުއްދަތުގައި ޑޮލަރަށް އޮތް ޑިމާންޑު އޮތީ އާންމުކޮށް އޮންނަ މިންވަރަށްވުރެ ދަށުގައި. އެމްއެމްއޭގެ ހިސާބުތަކުން ދައްކާގޮތުން، 2020 ވަނަ އަހަރު ރާއްޖެއިން އިމްޕޯޓަށް ހަރަދުކުރީ 1.7 ބިލިއަން ޑޮލަރު. އެއީ 2019 ވަނަ އަހަރާ އަޅާ ބަލާއިރު 1 ބިލިއަން ޑޮލަރުގެ މަދުވުމެއް. މީގެ އިތުރުން، ލޮކްޑައުންގެ ސަބަބުން ރާއްޖެއިން ބޭރަށް ދަތުރު ނުކުރެވޭތީ، ބޭރަށް ފުރާ ފަރާތްތަކުން ޑޮލަރު ބޭނުންކުރާ މިންވަރުވެސް ވަރަށް ބޮޑަށް މަދުވި. 2019 ވަނަ އަހަރު ރާއްޖެއިން ބޭރަށް ދަތުރުކުރާ ފަރާތްތަކުން 333 މިލިއަން ޑޮލަރު ހޭދަ ކުރިއިރު، 2020 ވަނަ އަހަރު ހޭދަކޮށްފައިވަނީ 108 މިލިއަން ޑޮލަރު. އަދި ރެމިޓެންސްގެ ގޮތުގައި ބިދޭސީން ރާއްޖެއިން ބޭރަށް ފޮނުވާ ޑޮލަރު 2020 ވަނަ އަހަރު ވަނީ 595 މިލިއަން ޑޮލަރުން 396 މިލިއަން ޑޮލަރަށް މަދުވެފައި.

އެހެން ކަމުން ކޮވިޑުތެރޭގައި ޑޮލަރުގެ ޑިމާންޑު އެންމެ ބޮޑަށް އޮންނަ 3 ދާއިރާކަމަށްވާ އިމްޕޯޓު، ބޭރަށް ގޮސް ކުރާ ހަރަދުތައް އަދި ރެމިޓެންސް، އަށް ޑޮލަރު ބޭނުންވި މިންވަރު އޮތީ ވަރަށް ބޮޑަށް ދަށްވެފަ.

އިޤްތިސާދު އެއްކޮށްހެން މަޑުޖެހިފައި އޮތް މި ދުވަސްވަރުގައި ފައިސާ ޗާޕުކޮށް ސާކިއުލޭޝަނަށް ނެރުމުން، އެ ދުވަސްވަރު ކުއްލިއަކަށް ކަޅު ބާޒާރުގައި ޑޮލަރުގެ އަގު އުފުލިގެން ނުދިޔައީ މި ސަބަބުތަކާ ހެދި. އެހެން ނަމަވެސް އޭރުވެސް ޑޮލަރުގެ އަގު ދިޔައީ އުފުލެމުން. ޑޮލަރަށް އޮތް ޑިމާންޑު އާންމު ހާލަތްތަކުގައި އޮންނަ ވަރަށް ނެތް ނަމަވެސް ފަތުރުވެރިކަން ހުއްޓިފައި އޮތުމުން، ޑޮލަރުން ލިބޭ އާމްދަނީ އޭރު ވަރަށް ދަށަށް ދިޔަ.

އައިއެމްއެފްގެ ހިސާބުތަކުން ދައްކާގޮތުން ސެޕްޓެމްބަރު 2020 ގައި ޑޮލަރުގެ އަގު ވަނީ 30 އިންސައްތަ އުފުލިފައި.

ކޮވިޑުގެ ހާއްސަ ހާލަތް ނިމި، އިޤްތިސާދު އަލުން ހިނގަން ފެށުމުން، ޑޮލަރަށް އޮންނަ ޑިމާންޑު އިތުރުވި. މިގޮތުން ހަމަ އެކަނި ރާއްޖެއިން ބޭރަށް ދަތުރުކުރާ ފަރާތްތަކުން 2025 ވަނަ އަހަރު 484 މިލިއަން ޑޮލަރު ހޭދަކުރި. އަދި ރެމިޓެންސްގެ ގޮތުގައި 661 މިލިއަން ޑޮލަރު ރާއްޖެއިން ބޭރުވެގެން ދިޔަ. އެމްޑީޕީގެ ވެރިކަމުގައި މާލިއްޔަތު ޤާނޫނުގެ މާއްދާތައް ސަސްޕެންޑުކުރުމަށްފަހު، ޗާޕުކުރި ފައިސާގެ ނޭދެވޭ އަސަރު ކުރަން ފެށީ މިހިސާބުން.

މިގޮތަށް މިކަން ވާނެ ކަމަށް އައިއެމްއެފް އަދި ވޯލްޑް ބޭންކުން ވަނީ 2020، 2021، އަދި 2022 ވަނަ އަހަރުގައި އެކި ފަހަރު މަތިން އިންޒާރު ދީފައި.

އޭރު ފިނޭންސް މިނިސްޓަރު އަމީރު ވިދާޅުވީ ޕްރިންޓުކުރި ފައިސާ “މޮޕް އަޕް” ކުރާނީ ކަމަށް. އެމްޑީޕީ ވެރިކަން ނިމުނުއިރުވެސް އެ ފައިސާ މޮޕް އަޕެއް ނުކުރެވުނު.

އެމްޑީޕީވެރިކަން ނިމި 2023 ވަނަ އަހަރު މިހާރުގެ ސަރުކާރު ވެރިކަމާއި ހަވާލުވެ ފައިސާ ޕްރިންޓްކުރުން ނިމުމަކަށް ގެނައި. މިފަދަ ފިޔަވަޅުތަކުގެ ރަނގަޅު އަސަރު ވަގުތުން ނުފެންނާނެ. މަނިޓަރީ ސިޔާސަތުތަކުގެ ނަތީޖާ ފެންނަން ބައެއް ފަހަރު އަހަރުތަކެއް ނަގާފާނެ. ފައިސާ ޕްރިންޓުކުރުން ހުއްޓާލި ނަމަވެސް، އޭރު ޗާޕުކުރި ފައިސާ ސާކިއުލޭޝަނުގައި އަދިވެސް އެބަހުރި.

ޑޮލަރުގެ އަގު އުފުލެނީ އިޤްތިސާދު ތެރޭގައި ލިބެން ހުންނަ ޑޮލަރަށްވުރެ ދިވެހި ރުފިޔާ ގިނަވެ، ކޮންމެ ޑޮލަރެއްގެ ފަހަތުން ދުވާ. ރުފިޔާ ގިނަވުމުންކަން މިއީ އެންމެނަށްވެސް އެނގޭކަމެއް.

އެމްޑީޕީ ވެރިކަމުގައި ޗާޕުކުރި ފައިސާގެ ސަބަބުން ދިވެހި ރުފިޔާގެ އަގު ވެއްޓިފައި ވަނިކޮށް، މިއަހަރު އިތުރަށް ޑޮލަރުގެ ތާށިކަން ވަނީ ކުރިމަތިވެފަ. މި ތާށިކަން ކުރިމަތިވީ އެމްޑީޕީ ވެރިކަމުގައި ނެގި 500 މިލިއަން ޑޮލަރުގެ ދަރަންޏެއް މިއަހަރު ދައްކަން ޖެހުމުން އަދި މެދުއިރުމަތީގެ ހަމަނުޖެހުންތަކުގެ ސަބަބުން ފަތުރުވެރިކަމަށް އަސަރު ކުރުމުން ރާއްޖެއަށް ލިބޭ ބޭރުފައިސާގެ އާމްދަނީ ދަށަށް ދިޔުމުން. އަދި ތެލުގެ އަގަށް އައި ބަދަލާއި އެކު އިމްޕޯޓަށް ބޭނުންވާ ޑޮލަރުވެސް ވަނީ ވަރަށް ބޮޑަށް އިތުރުވެފަ.

މި ސަބަބުތަކާ ހުރެ އިޤްތިސާދުގައި ލިިބެން ހުރި ޑޮލަރުގެ މިންވަރު ވަނީ ވަރަށް ބޮޑަށް މަދުވެފަ. އެހެން ނަމަވެސް ސާކިއުލޭޝަނުގައި ހުރި ރުފިޔާގެ އަދަދަކަށް ބަދަލެއް ނާދޭ، އެހެން ކަމުން އިޤްތިސާދުގައި ހުރި ޑޮލަރާއި އަޅާ ބަލާއިރު ރުފިޔާ ވަނީ ވަރަށް ބޮޑުތަން އިތުރުވެފަ.

10 ދުވަސް ތެރޭގައި ޑޮލަރުގެ އަގު 19 އަށް ތިރިކުރަން ޑިމާންޑު ކުރުމަކީ ރައްޔިތުންނަށް އޮޅުވާލުމުގެ ބޭނުމުގައި އެމްޑީޕީން ދައްކާ ވާހަކައެއް.

As the USD exchange rate hits an all-time high of 21.44 and increasing, BML continues illegal market operations, the government prepares to print more than 2.4 billion MVR.

Printing such a large quantity of MVR under the current precarious condition of the economy will only inflate the cost of USD to even more devastating heights. President Muizzu clearly has no care for the opinions of the industry experts as he makes blunder after blunder, causing irreparable harm to our country’s economy.

More than a dozen board members and senior management at MMA and the Pension Office have resigned over these printing plans, and the administration is continuing to force out more technical staff so it can push their devastating decisions through.

Simply put, Muizzu is either the most incompetent president our country has seen, or he knows how badly this will hurt Maldivians, and is choosing to do so anyway. In either case, any bit of trust in our president’s and this government’s competency is completely shattered.

ޔޫރަޕާއި، ޗައިނާ އަދި އެހެން މަންޒިލްތަކުގެ ފަތުރުވެރިންނަށް ވެސް އެ އެއާޕޯޓުތަކުން ކަނެކްޓިން ފްލައިޓުތަކުގައި ހަނިމާދޫއަށް ދަތުރުކުރެވޭނެ. ދުނިޔޭގެ ނިސްބަތުން އެންމެ ގިނަ ފަސިންޖަރުން އުފުލަނީ ނެރޯބޮޑީ އެއާކްރާފްޓުތަކުގައި. މިވަގުތު ޑިމާންޑު އެވަރަށް ނެތުމުން ވައިޑްބޮޑީ އެއާކްރާފްޓް ޖެއްސޭ ވަރަށް އިންވެސްޓު ކުރުމަކީ އިގުތިސޯދީ ގޮތުން ހަމަޖެހޭ ނިންމުމަކަށް ނުވާނެ. އެ ޑިމާންޑު އުފެދޭ ދުވަހެއްގައި ރަންވޭ ބޮޑުކުރުމަށް ބިން އޮތީ ހަމަޖައްސާފައި.

އެ ޕްރޮޖެކްޓު ފެށުމާއެކު ބޮޑު ތިލަދުންމަތީގެ ބިމާއި އިންވެސްޓުމަންޓުގެ އަގު އުފުލުނުއިރު ހަނިމާދޫ އިންޓަނޭޝަނަލް އެއާޕޯޓު ބޭނުންނުކޮށް ބޭއްވުމަކީ މި ސަރުކާރުން އުތުރުގެ ތަރައްގީއަށް އަޅަމުންދާ ހުރަހެއް. ފަތުރުވެރިކަން، މަސްވެރިކަން، ލޮޖިސްޓިކްސް އަދި ރިއަލް އެސްޓޭޓް ފަދަ އިގުތިސާދީ ދާއިރާތައް ފުޅާކުރުމަށް އެ އެއާޕޯޓަށް އިންޓަނޭޝަނަލް ފްލައިޓުތައް ގެންނަން ޖެހޭ.
