You're so much more than the pawn they see.
People only meet the version of you that you choose to show. Your depth, your dreams, and your strength stay hidden in the shadow. You don't owe anyone a full explanation to be fully yourself.
Sweden is officially trading screens and tablets for physical books and handwriting to reverse a decline in reading skills.
Once at the forefront of hyper-digitalized learning, Sweden is engineering a dramatic pivot back to the basics in its classrooms. Concerned that an overreliance on digital tablets and screens has eroded reading comprehension and foundational writing skills, Swedish education officials are investing heavily in traditional printed textbooks.
The national strategy aims to phase out digital devices for children under the age of six entirely, following a drop in international reading assessment scores.
Experts point out that while technology was championed to level the playing field, its unrestricted use has instead led to shorter attention spans and reduced retention among younger learners.
Scientific evidence strongly supports this retro transition. Research indicates that the physical act of handwriting activates complex neural networks governing motor skills, vision, memory, and language—cognitive benefits that are largely lost on a keyboard.
Furthermore, reading from a printed page provides critical spatial cues that aid comprehension, unlike digital screens that often subject students to cognitive fatigue and constant distractions. While computers and tablets remain valuable tools for research and collaboration, educators worldwide are watching Sweden's massive reinvestment in physical books as a potential blueprint for a more balanced, science-backed approach to modern schooling.

"Papa, this star on my shoulder is the result of your hard work.”
When Indian wrestler Pooja Sihag wrote these words for her late father, they captured the strength behind her journey.
Born in Hansi, Haryana, Pooja stepped onto the wrestling mat at just 11 because her father, Subhash Sihag, believed his daughter could become a champion.
But during the 2020 Olympic qualifiers, he passed away from heart failure, leaving her shattered. For a while, Pooja even thought of quitting wrestling.
Then she remembered his dream.
With the support of her mother and brother, she returned to relentless training, waking up at 4 am and practising nearly six hours a day.
Her determination paid off at the Commonwealth Games 2022 in Birmingham, where she won a bronze medal in the women’s 76 kg wrestling category.
Today, she inspires countless women to work hard, dream big, and chase their goals fearlessly.
A daughter, an athlete, and a mother — she is proof that women can achieve anything they set their minds to.

“Democracy gives us the right to question,
not the entitlement to disrespect.
Speak with courage,
Disagree with dignity.” 🇮🇳🫡
Know your rights.
Understand your responsibilities.
Respect those who protect the nation. 🇮🇳

✈️ 12 SSB Attempts. One Dream. No Giving Up. 🇮🇳
From a small village in Farrukhabad to earning the coveted uniform of the Indian Air Force, 24-year-old Ankit Kumar has shown what relentless determination can achieve.
🌟 A native of Ahimalapur village in Mohammadabad, Ankit faced the SSB process 12 times. Rejection after rejection and repeated conference outs tested his resolve—but he refused to walk away from his dream.
💪 Instead, every setback made him stronger.
Coming from a proud military family, Ankit grew up surrounded by the values of discipline, courage and service.
🎖️ His father, Rajesh Chaturvedi, served in the Indian Army for 30 years and retired as an Honorary Captain. His mother, Seema Devi, stood firmly behind the family through years of transfers and changing cities.
📚 Ankit studied at Army Public School and DNPG College, Fatehgarh. His achievements did not stop there.
🏆 He secured All India Rank 1 for Assistant Commandant in the Coast Guard—yet continued pursuing his ultimate dream: becoming an IAF pilot.
✨ On June 13, that dream finally took flight.
At the passing out parade in Hyderabad, Ankit was commissioned as a Flying Officer in the Indian Air Force and received the President’s Commission in the presence of Defence Minister Rajnath Singh.
🌹 Back home, his family and neighbours welcomed him with flowers, garlands and sweets.
🇮🇳 12 attempts. Countless setbacks. One unbreakable spirit.
Ankit’s journey proves that sometimes, the only difference between failure and success is the courage to try one more time. ✨

The India We Deserve 📷
Tukaram is showing us how much can change when even one public servant chooses to do his job with honesty, dedication, and a genuine sense of responsibility.
At a time when stories of corruption and misconduct involving public officials often dominate the headlines, honest leadership deserves to be recognised and celebrated.
Citizens have a role to play in building a better India—but those entrusted with public institutions carry an even greater responsibility.
Good governance begins when those in power lead by example.
One honest officer may not change the entire system overnight.
But one honest officer can prove that change is possible. 📷📷

❤️ Assam is taking a new step towards supporting elderly parents.
The Assam government has introduced a policy aimed at helping senior citizens who may not receive proper financial support from their children. Under the scheme, 10–15% of an employee’s salary may be transferred directly to their parents’ bank account if they fail to take care of them.
The move is intended to provide financial security to elderly parents and reinforce the responsibility of children towards their ageing parents.
A step that could inspire similar measures to support senior citizens across India.
