Our animation ‘Puddle Jumping’ aims to help adults understand how grieving children can seem to move in and out of their grief, a bit like they’re jumping in and out of a puddle. 💦
Puddle jumping is normal and means a child is learning to cope with their grief.
When a loved one dies, it shouldn't be called a test, a gift, or a blessing. Calling grief by other names doesn't makes it hurt any less, but navigating the pain is how we create meaning out of grief. This allows us to move forward in a way where we can change, grow, and heal.
Join us for a compassionate cuppa tomorrow. If you have lost someone dear to you, and would like to chat and connect with other bereaved people, drop by and join us at the @ETNACentre, 10.00- 11.30am.
All welcome ☕️
