One of #BIP110’s most debated rules:
Tapscripts executing OP_IF / OP_NOTIF become invalid (even if condition is false).
Why? Spammers abused it to inject large skipped data. In Taproot, best practice is already to evaluate conditions off-chain + use separate tapleaves or keypath spends.
Doesn’t break real monetary use. Wallets need simple update. Pre-activation UTXOs fully exempt.
This keeps Bitcoin as sound money, not cheap data storage. Running Knots + BIP-110 + DATUM = real sovereignty.

@liedmyway2top And there is their latest brown nosing fascist SLIPPERY MIKE BUTTERICK from Wairarapa - in background. Ewww he covers up abuse in care, police corruption & violence, murders, violence against women & kids. @NZNationalParty are terrorists who should be in prison
I'd like to pay homage to Mr Kratter. If Bitcoin was ever to survive the fiat industrial complex, it'd be thanks to bitcoiners like him. The man could be enjoying a peaceful & comfy fiat retirement but decided to risk it all to pursue Satoshi's quest to separate money from state.
Literally me below raging at the SpamScammers on Bitcoin Twitter🤣
The SpamScammers stole fizzy lifting drinks from Bitcoin, so they get nothing! They LOSE!!!
Only shot at redemption for these Degens is if they show humility and give back the everlasting gobstopper.
Run BIP110
@Scotthew82 It began where it should have, with node runners. It is gaining momentum with miners. Now it needs formal opposition with clearly laid out rationale rather than lazy smears, or it's time for businesses to demonstrate their ability to adapt along with the network.
@BasilTheGreat@MNE42CDO Can we have the death penalty for Treason Restored?
We need to incentivise politicians not to fuck over the entire country with impunity
I suspect the Bitcoin bear market doesn’t end until the blatant facilitating of spam ends.
Right now the DNA of Bitcoin is under attack.
Bitcoin is money.
Every Tuesday I write a letter to the Tribe. Bitcoin, sovereignty, and the system it replaces.

I never thought I'd be making a submission on the Disability Support Services Bill.
Then again, I never thought I'd still be alive.
In 2023 I suffered a massive aneurysm, followed by a stroke. My family were told there was no hope and to prepare for the worst. At one point a priest was called to deliver the Last Rites because nobody knew if I would make it through the night.
Weeks in ICU followed. Then came the long road home to New Zealand, arriving unable to walk, unable to live independently, and facing the prospect of losing everything I'd worked for.
I had to learn to walk again.
I had to learn to talk again.
I lost sight. I lost hearing. I faced uncertainty about my job, my home, my future and my relationships.
But here's the thing.
As hard as that journey has been, it has given me just a glimpse into a world that tens of thousands of disabled New Zealanders navigate every single day of their lives.
Since 2023 I've met thousands of disabled people and their families. I've listened to their stories. I've heard their fears, frustrations and hopes.
And almost every one of them has told me the same thing:
This Disability Support Services Bill is not the answer.
I've read the Bill. I've read submissions. I've listened to advocates, families and disabled New Zealanders themselves. What stands out is how disconnected this legislation feels from the people it will affect most.
The Government needs to stop and listen.
Listen to disabled people.
Listen to families.
Listen to carers.
Listen to the Human Rights Commission.
Listen to the countless voices saying that decisions about disabled people should not be made without disabled people.
Nothing about us without us.
Like I said, I never thought I'd be here.
But here I am.
A disabled New Zealander, battered and bruised but still standing.
And I'm asking our politicians to stop this madness and go back to the drawing board.
Let's build a disability support system with disabled people, not for them.
If you haven't made a submission yet, please consider doing so. The voices of disabled New Zealanders deserve to be heard. Make a submission here: https://t.co/sh7bZ7X5MU
