@OmniFinn@thejorgg If there were no laws, human rights, police. I believe nature would run its course, human experiance would rise while mandatory limits to human experience would disappear.
@trying_to_life@kndro13@PathOfMen_ More tonal and context driven. The tone, pitch and body language of mate is all the difference. Adding adjectives like Fucking Mate, Old mate, question mate? All major changes, same word
@Triegaardtau79 @SpecificRisk This only works if you think the economy is one bloke with $20 in his pocket. The petrol station now has your extra $5, they spend it too. Banks create new money with every loan. The money supply isn’t fixed. That’s literally how inflation works. The RBA exists for a reason.
@tallowbros@TheKouk I would agree on all counts bar NBN, the issue is they screwed up the FTtN with liberals saying we couldn’t possibly need speeds above 100mb, which on a global stage puts us in the Stone Age. The cost to then rollout proper fibre everywhere cost way more and took too long.
@dming@claudeai Its almost unusable, I upgraded from Pro to Max for that reason, no issues. Last few days I am just making a simple family web app (nothing crazy) and its chewed up 30% of my weekly tokens after two sessions of hitting cap. Previously only came close to hourly limits on deep blds
@Cassius_Reborn@geswolfcrest@LukeGromen Every human can only eat so much food, drink so much coffee etc etc. sure wealthy people eat nicer things and a little more, but luxury goods will be ok, the broader economy not so much.
@Yeostrulykys@kylezvidzai@BellaBaddie__ It’s actually from Islay the island in the Scottish Hebrides. The given name after this Island removed the Y but can’t be spelt with it.
