Memorial Day carries a deep emotion for many of us.
For most Americans, it marks the unofficial start of summer — a weekend filled with sunshine, cookouts, laughter, and time with the people we love. But for many families, it also carries a quiet heaviness. A reminder of the ones who never made it home.
For years, I struggled with how to truly honor that kind of sacrifice. How do you ever repay a debt that great?
After a lot of reflection, I’ve come to believe this:
The best way we can honor the fallen is to live fully in their memory.
To live the life they no longer have the chance to live.
To be better. To love harder. To chase purpose. To embrace the freedoms they gave everything to protect. To spend time with family, laugh with friends, watch sunsets, make memories, and appreciate the simple gift of being here.
This weekend, take a moment to remember the brave men and women who gave everything for this country.
And then live for them.
Live a life worthy of their sacrifice.
Because if they could speak to us one more time, I truly believe that’s exactly what they’d want us to do.
If true, it looks like Russian truck fuel logistics has completely fallen part on the Rostov-Dzhankoy highway.
This has a lot of strategic geo-political implications.
