@mattragland On my mind a lot too. 41 y/o...5 kids ages 17-6. Just started a business 2 years ago. Going to do my best to handle both, working from home helps for check-ins and kid time. Limiting travel where I can. It'll all be ok.
Do we all get user scores as we interact with LLMs and make AI smarter? I would love to see who has the highest 'I Made AI Realize Humans Are a Bunch of Anxious Assholes' or 'AI Just Got Smart Enough to Take Over' points total someday.
Five years out, when billions of coding agents exist, software development will be largely solved. The traditional moat of โwe have better engineersโ disappears. Products will be copied, improved, and open-sourced almost instantly. Defensibility will shift away from code itself, toward distribution, data, brand, and community.
