Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu is moving like a man not calculating 2027 — but calculating control. Anyone who understands NNPC knows that insisting on direct remittance to the Federation Account is stepping on very powerful toes. The real cabals around NNPC don’t even sit inside NNPC. That kind of move requires serious political will. May Nigeria win 🇳🇬

Unpopular opinion: Firstly, Atiku and Ameichi and some other ADC leaders are happy with the current situation in the just concluded Abuja elections. 🥲 Secondly, More than 30% of APC stakeholders were hoping Wike would lose the Abuja election so they could quietly throw him under the carpet. Well, that’s politics for you. I’m certain Wike was fully aware of this. However, the opposition isn’t politically savvy enough to read the room. You spend your time abusing and inciting the public rather than closing ranks, negotiating, and strategically aligning with dissenting voices within other parties, including the incumbent. If a Tinubu or a Wike were in the opposition, they would have identified key politicians across various parties and made a few strategic arrangements behind the scenes. That’s why they’re called “master strategists.” 🥹 (I know most of you don’t like that term.)
