very unimpressed with people in this field that just want to popularize problems. CTI does not need to be an area of doom-scrolling burnout where all you talk about are threats and not even review possible solutions or mitigations. be better. none of us are operating in a vacuum.

every time an infosec speaker gives a presentation on MFA based attacks and then states using email, phone, & text based MFA is bad without suggesting any alternatives or outlining why, I lose faith in their ability to talk about ANYTHING with a level of awareness to this field.

and then when someone asks if a yubikey or other hardware based MFA would be a better alternative, to just say there's attacks against those too... so should we all just roll over and stop even using MFA? jfc
