@jonaathome@worldranking_ I think it depends on how she receives the money. It for some reason the check was mailed to her it would be unsolicited mail and therefore considered a free gift by the federal government
@MrAmericanPop@OrwellNGoode Who said $2700 is principal payment? Also interest is a set amount based on how much total principal is left to pay on a house. It is not any percent of your payment. You can pay only interest and $0 on principal. What sort of math do you think you’re doing?
@MrAmericanPop@OrwellNGoode Your mortgage is in complete agreement with OP isn’t it? Your point is that it’s funny someone thinks $1300 would go towards principal out of $4000 payment but you seem to have proven OP is exactly correct about that
@MrAmericanPop@OrwellNGoode If you paid $4000 instead of $3200 you would be putting $1300 towards principal and while only paying $800 more you’d be more than doubling how quick you pay off the mortgage
