A dark day in Texas (again) as Gov. Abbott signs voter suppression into law. Texas Democratic legislators came to DC. They asked Congress to act. It could not be clearer: we need to pass federal voting rights legislation. This assault is not letting up.
So now that Abbott has vowed to eliminate rape in Texas, could someone explain to me why - if this was actually a possibility - he never bothered eliminating rape before this?
