NEVER AGAIN. NEVER FORGET.
Today, Sept. 21, marks 53 years since the late dictator Ferdinand Marcos Sr. signed Proclamation No. 1081 in 1972, placing the entire Philippines under Martial Law.
The period was marred by thousands of widespread human rights violations, media censorship, and the curtailment of civil liberties.
