@united stopping the TMobile WiFi service in United flights BEFORE Starlink is even available on flights (especially in International flights) seems like a bad execution of an otherwise well thought plan… $14.95 for internet in 2026 is a joke! You should be ashamed… be ready with starlink and then remove the service. @TMobile we love you for all you do but this was a major reason benefit for consumers to justify the premium… now what is this replaced with?
Μόνο εσύ….just #thrilos@Olympiacos_BC European Champions again. Nothing can compare to the atmosphere in Game! Πάμε ρε Θρυλάρα! It was a night to remember
@SawyerMerritt@Starlink Thanks for understanding your mistake @starlink and now offering a $3 reactivation… I will take that. At least you figured out the mistake
Marketing is engineering… consumer behaviour engineering… leveraging tools of psychology to engineer human behaviour towards a positive outcome. So just like all other parts of Tesla we need engineering also in this part. Because they will be able to create a positive return. We can discuss the how… but in my mind it needs to be there. Still today, people that I interact with, people that are absolutely within the target group of Tesla and can afford one and have no prejudice vs Elon, have NO IDEA how good Tesla is… they have no idea how good FSD is, no idea how simple and fast the charging is, no idea how good quality the cars are… I have a new example every week… these people need to learn more about the amazing company Tesla is… and for that Advertisement is needed
This is from grok:
The map screenshot covers a substantial portion of northwest Houston’s suburban sprawl in the Cypress/Bridgeland/Tomball area (roughly 15 miles east-west by 15–20 miles north-south, or about 225–300 square miles total visible extent).
The core of what’s shown (primarily the Cypress area, including zips 77429 and 77433) has ~200,000–213,000 residents as of recent Census/ACS data.
Why this supports your point on low Supercharger coverage
The map shows only 1–2 Tesla Superchargers prominently marked (one clearly labeled in the southern/central part with the “This supercharger station is located in a…” note, and maybe one more lightning icon nearby). In contrast, there are multiple Gravit, EVgo, and other third-party stations visible. For a region this size with ~200k+ people in the core (and growing fast), that’s sparse Tesla-specific fast-charging infrastructure—especially noticeable in a high-EV-adoption area like greater Houston. Perfect visual for illustrating the gap in Tesla’s network relative to the residential/population footprint here.
Maybe my bad luck but the last 2 weeks that the AC power converter on my cybertruck went out and I “need” to use superchargers every day, I have had to wait 40% of the time. Simply because coverage in the entire north west Houston is basically in 2 locations… in one of the fastest growing areas of the state
Cool. How about seriously ramping up reply of new sites as you used to do. North west Houston where I am at is a disaster. With your two locations (a Buckees and a Tesla shop) unable to keep with the demand… and continued issues with the stalls… are you guys even reading your own stats?
For sure more assertive. Much better at exit lane choices. Better at parking. Profiles very consistent. Car almost feel sentient. A couple of known issues remain:
1. Stays too long in left lane (even at Standard)
2. A little jittering at times
3. And for the love of God why can’t we choose to back in the driveway? Head first is a problem for charging…
Well and also would be great if the update did not coincide with PCS going out and car has no ac charge or outlets…. Recall time?
Hey Tesla influencer community, Can we talk about the PCS issues At Cybertruck . Maybe a coincidence but right after the latest software update lots of us saw that go out at the same time!!! Apparently it is been going on for a year now and still no recall…. And the fix is on back order till July! Meanwhile we cannot charge home or use the outlets. Great that we have FSD but can we make sure the basics on the car actually work???? @elonmusk@DirtyTesLa@Teslarati@Tesla@SawyerMerritt
Honestly our experiences are day and night… literally today I had in my car my most difficult sceptic of this technology… a friend that will never abandon his sports driving for FSD… and at the end of the night he said that yes he is impressed and this thing drives better than a human!!! what FSD version does your friend have? The experience on highway in Houston literally has 0 issues for 99.999% of the time with the 0.001% being a missed exit every 50 rides or so. HOV selection is a SETTING than you can toggle and it’s behaviour is flawless… and if you don’t want to stay in the left lane (where the car at hurry indeed sometimes stays when doing 10m over the speed limit) all you have to do is toggle to standard…and it IMMEDIATELY takes the center lane…. And this is shared experience from anyone I have talked to. So the things you describe are extremely stretched descriptions … almost distorting reality…
