@KariDaniels real talk, when first starting out, did you not do “work” for free shoes/apparel to create those connections? The only gatekeeping I’ve been seeing is you fighting for the creators trying to make this a living and bashing people for accepting free things for content

Thank to the participation trophies being handed out in the name of free shoes for marketing, it’s made this all become a gold rush of sorts, where everyone is trying to outdo everyone else to see & be seen while also gaslighting & Gatekeeping as many as possible to maintain what little position people think they have out here. It’s toxic.

I wasn't completely sold on the Nike Air Liquid Max when I first saw it in the all black colorway. Now that Nike is introducing more colors into the mix, it's starting to grow on me.

@KariDaniels I mean, he kind of has a point. It’s rare that a YT video or IG post sways me my original thoughts on a product. The most important thing to me is sizing on certain kicks, which I can get from some YT channels. Everything else is just enjoying good photos/b roll.
