Apart from the Balogun incident, this has been the cleanest football tournament I've seen. The referees have let the game flow instead of calling every foul, and any decisions that favored Argentina didn't influence the results. I have watched every single game.

And I hated seeing the referee not even look at what was, for me, the definition of a penalty for France. But real football needs as little referee interference as possible. That seems to be the line at this World Cup, and we’re watching a great tournament because of it.
