@DamienDreadVT I think fair to cite this. This is pop punk. I’d argue fans get that tho. That said I’d also argue that xg doing such is capturing the spirit of punk. It’s not terribly accepted as a commercial idea, it advocates for a trans masc member n acceptance n it rejects control by masses

@Aurorafan38667 I forgive you for being fully wrong right from the start. There are a lot of things to pick on in the music industry. Xg just isn’t one of them. They genuinely love every kind of music, they insist on its solid execution, and they do this for fun n the message. Not the clicks.

@umnotyouagain I think regardless of where you fall. I feel that the group itself seems to be finding some footing finally on what it wants to represent going forward and that’s exciting and should be celebrated. Xg executing its own ideas was always the goal and best case scenario

@Rook_Metal I think criticism isn’t really xg’s fault or even people’s. I think we’ve been conditioned to just expect that groups constantly do stuff for cash and fame. If people understood how much xg just loves music n playing in its sandbox a lot of the negative would disappear.
