@SoberWithConnor Take a book with you, or your phone - gives you something to focus on until the food gets there. Most places are very used to solo diners so don’t make a thing of it. Once you’ve done it once it gets much easier. Enjoy your trip.
@beck1sm2 Yeah I wasn’t prepared either - thought I’ll be back to normal in 3/4 weeks. Hadn’t banked on the shattering exhaustion after doing the smallest thing! It does get better- just takes time. x
@beck1sm2 Yeah same surgery. They explained it’s because a lot of healing is happening that you can’t see. They told me the average time off afterwards was 12 weeks for proper healing. x
@beck1sm2 Think I went back after 9 weeks. Needed the time to get my strength & stamina back. Thought I was fine - did things - knackered again! lol! x
@beck1sm2 Me neither. 😂 Honestly folk have been talking about getting sorted for Xmas since Sept this year to help spread the cost. That’s the earliest I’ve ever heard customers openly talking about it.
@beck1sm2 Folks Xmas nights out/gatherings have been getting earlier for the last few years. From the chat I’m hearing at work it’s to spread cost for people/make December less busy/overwhelming.
