@chrissyfreeMD Pharmacy fellows exist as well. We all need to recognize that each profession brings something to the table and STOP trying to “one up”. For example, if physicians could do it all, apparently they would. However, they can’t so non-physician professionals exist to fill in gaps.

@chrissyfreeMD Why is this a question at all? Physicians are not the only highly trained healthcare professionals. Pharmacy has residents. Pharmacy residency programs have been around for decades.

@MidlevelCare Collaborate Care is the best model. It includes all the professionals that doctors accuse of encroachment. A restructuring of healthcare management is appropriate, and doctors are resistant…not always for the right reasons. Sorry not sorry for calling too many of them out on it.

@MidlevelCare Then, the doctors must, as an advocate of health equity, refer, as appropriate, to specialties such as PharmD for med mgmt or RD for diet, etc. Doctors must walk the walk & talk the talk if anyone other than their own kind is to agree- or they just appear to be complainers.
