BREAKING: The first major MAGA domino falls as John Eastman, the disgraced Republican lawyer who helped in Donald Trump's scheme to overturn the 2020 election and destroy American democracy, surrenders to authorities in Georgia.
Eastman was booked in humiliation at the Fulton County jail. He is expected to have an arraignment set in the coming weeks. During his surrender, Eastman pathetically whined that the indictment "should have never been brought."
Trump supporters are absolutely freaking out over this surrender. Many of them had somehow convinced themselves that this sprawling Georgia case would just somehow magically vanish. Now they're being forced to grapple with the truth: Donald Trump is going down.
Please retweet and ❤️ if you think that Trump's mugshot should be released when he surrenders — and consider joining the growing exodus to Tribel, a “woke” new Twitter competitor that banned Trump for life and is exploding in popularity because Elon Musk banned Tribel’s Twitter account — but he forgot to ban this link to download the new Tribel app: https://t.co/HnJzSKjCwX
NEWS: Justice is making its way to one of the worst January 6th attackers, whom prosecutors have labeled "one of the most violent rioters who attacked the Capitol on Jan. 6," and they are aiming to put him away in prison for at least six years.
US Capitol attacker Thomas Sibick was not only present in the crowd when Capitol Police Officer Michael Fanone was dragged down stairs, tased, and beaten with flagpoles.
Sibick also took Fanone's badge and his radio, "depriving him of at least one item he could have used to defend himself: his police radio," charged Assistant US Attorney Kimberly L. Paschall.
Paschall accused Sibick of pushing his way to the front of the mob to personally contribute his own violence to the mob's actions, adding that his actions were "unquestionably cruel."
For instances where US Capitol Police were assaulted, is six years a stiff enough sentence to serve as a deterrent against future offenders? What do you think?
