Cosmic Migration Update

The purpose is to make a strategic shift towards a more sustainable, growth-optimised 0% tax model on v3 with better liquidity mechanics, a better CA and improved tokenomics geared towards node providers and validators.

This transition enables us to attract Tier 1 exchanges and a much wider segment of the crypto market, particularly institutional and retail investors, many of which we will be leveraging to use and promote our dVPN platform.

Airdrop for v2: All holders will receive a 1:1 airdrop of the Cosmic token as at the snapshot date, this applies to both holders on Uniswap and on Mexc. Those with tokens staked will receive their airdrop to account for rewards accumulated in the period up until the relaunch. Holders do not have to do anything.

Staking v2: Will be launched in tandem with the relaunch of the Cosmic token and will include:
- Dynamic APY and lockups: increasing APY based on ascending lock up periods, with a maximum lock-up period of one year.
- Gradual unlock penalties: Penalties decrease over the lock-up period
- Auto-compounding: you will be able to automatically compound your rewards on a weekly basis
- Multiple staking instances: The ability to stake different amounts for different periods all within the same wallet
- Tiered staking system which will include bonuses for amount of tokens staked.
- New staking dapp with improved UI/UX

Tokenomics upgrade: We will be relaunching with a circulating supply of 100 million tokens at $10m marketcap. The contract will also mint 100 million further tokens over a 2 year period, purely for network and blockchain validator incentives.

Contract audit: The token contract and new staking contract will be audited before launch.

Launch date: TBA over the next week, alongside details of our marketing plan designed to appeal to a wider audience in conjunction with our new contract.

Mobile apps and MacOS app to be released in the coming week, ensuring that we increase our active user base as we expand the platforms for our Open beta.

Node hosting will also be available before we relaunch.
