the fact ticket to heaven isn’t just one of the best thai bl, but one of the best mlm stories i’ve ever watched, says everything about how special this series is.
i hope ep6 finally answers the people who questioned why ‘religious guilt’ wasn't highlighted enough, or why it didn't seem like it was ‘consuming’ him.
it did and this specific scene reveals the depth of it. it shows just how long he had been carrying the weight of believing there was something fundamentally wrong with him. he genuinely thought he was being selfish for wanting a life that felt true to his heart.
his conversation with Father Arnon makes it painfully clear that this wasn't a passing conflict, it was something he'd been carrying for years and that’s what makes his guilt so heartbreaking.

"Two of my staff quit today. Way more tiring than usual"
"I'm sore all over"
It just melts my heart how Barth's first thing to do once he came home was to complain while rak's was to listen. Reminded me of how Barth's mom requested Tanrak to listen to Barth's complains and whines on her behalf :(((
"Hurry up and take a shower before this becomes a habit"
- "still nagging like always"
This also reminded me of how Barth's mom questioned whether he still stays up late and Barth whines how she's still nagging :(
tanrak literally became his mother in her absence :"[♡♡♡

"so how have you two been?" and we see finally see present day tanrak, him opening the confessional door and the focus being on his left hand with his wedding ring..... just absolute cinema.

"Normally, when a series comes to an end, we often say, “It’s time to send the characters back to the novel.” But for me, Barth and Tanrak existed in my heart long before there was a novel, and long before this story became a series.
So today, I’m not sending them back anywhere. Instead, I’ll let Barth and Tanrak continue living on… in the beautiful memories of everyone who came to know them.
I would like to thank every member of the behind-the-scenes team who helped bring this series to life. I hope you’ll forgive me for not mentioning everyone by name, I’m afraid I might accidentally leave someone out. Every single one of them played a part in bringing Ticket to Heaven to where it is today.
Thank you to GMMTV for always giving me the creative freedom to tell my stories, even knowing how sensitive and challenging this one would be.
Thank you to our wonderful cast: Gemini, Fourth, I’m looking forward to working with you both for many more years. Bright, Ashi, P’ Nok, P’ Aun, Poon, Mook, Keen, Sea, Tor, Guitar, Mantra, and every supporting actor who believed in these characters and gave them life in ways even more beautiful than I had ever imagined.
Thank you to all the priest consultants who offered guidance, shared their knowledge, and placed their trust in us, allowing this story to be told with respect for faith and belief. Thank you as well to everyone who shared their personal experiences with me, your stories were truly invaluable.
Thank you for every message of encouragement, every review, every reaction, every piece of feedback, and every criticism. I accept them all with sincere gratitude. Most importantly, thank you to every viewer, wherever you are in the world, for opening your hearts and taking this journey with us from the very beginning until today.
Finally…
If "The Boy Who Didn’t Go to Heaven" leaves everyone with one thing, I hope it is this belief:
That we can love God and love who we are at the same time.
May love and faith always be with each and every one of you.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you.
